The event showcases a selection of textile art, patterns, installations and textile heritage. You can find exhibitions at the Spinning Mill Area and Forssa city centre. The program consists of sever exhibition locations that host pieces created by more than 20 artists and designers from five different continents.

Metropolia University of Applied Science. TIMELEAP: Patterns inspired by the 20s, 50s, 60s & 80s. Project exhbiton by Textile Design students.
The exhibition shows designs inspired by 1920s architecture, 1950s countryside and the charm of the romanticised country western. The 1960s take us to the futuristic cabins and sandy beaches as well as to the age of flowers, abstract textures and well-defined shapes. The 1980s inspired patterns dive into pop and rock culture as well as to the world of neon colors and Miami Beach nightlife.
HAMK University of Applien Science: TRAVEL THROUGH TIME.
Exhibition by the Smart and Sustainable students of HAMK, Häme University of Applied Sciences.
Travel Through Time presents creative interpretations of visual history by in the Smart and Sustainable Design students at Häme University of Applied Sciences. In the exhibition you can travel in time from the 18th century rococo, through the time of cotton factory girls and pop era of the 1960s to the childhood of the students.Entrance fee:

The exhibitions are located in the attic of this historic jugend villa. The building has also a cafe / restaurant. The space has steps and a staircase, and is not unfortunately accessible with a weelchair or a walker.

Arja Mattila and the Tähti textile family:
A restrospective exhibition
Arja Mattila (1933-2015) was a third-generation factory worker from Forssa. Her maiden name was Tähti. A name that translates from Finnish to English language, meaning a Star.
Arja Mattila had a great influence on Forssa-based pattern design. She begun her career at the Finlayson-Forssa factories, working and learning about textile printing alongside her father, who mastered the engraving of metal printing rollers. She transferred her knowledge to designing patterns of innovative and structured compositions

Tanja Härmä & Sari Kurka
The window installation is inspired by the theme country of Sweden. Sari Kurka, originally from Forssa, is a visual artist who´s unique hand printed textiles present characters such as the King of Sweden Erik XIV and "Jättekiva-ducks".
Tanja Härmä is a clothing designer from Forssa who uses Kurka´s textiles and recycled fabrics in her creations.
A guest star Taika Joensuu is a clothing designer and artist who contructs clothing from single pieces fabrics, handiprinted with the Sweden-inspired prints Dalagat and Polkagris.
