Osana Kehräämön Joulu –tapahtumaa 2025 Forssan museolla vietetään Kansainvälistä Joulua. Museon tiloissa voi maistaa ja ostaa herkkuja eri maista, jutella, jakaa muistoja ja tutustua eri kulttuurien juhlaperinteisiin.

Forssan museo tarjoaa tapahtuman osallistujille maksuttoman tilan ja kutsuu jakamaan yhteisen kokemuksen sesongin perinteiden äärellä. Haluamme luoda uusia tapoja tavoittaa forssalaisia yhteisöjä. Museon ovet ovat avoinna ihan kaikille!

Tapahtuma on päihteetön ja noudattaa Turvallisen tilan periaatteita.

1. Kulttuuria lautasella 

Kulttuuria lautasella on osa Kehräämön joulu -tapahtumaa sekä Kansainvälistä joulua Forssan museolla. Tapahtuma on yhteisöllinen tilaisuus, jossa esitellään kauden herkkuja eri puolilta maailmaa. Kaikki ovat tervetulleita tuomaan omia perinteisiä makujaan. Ilmoita ryhmäsi mukaan ja jaa kulttuurisi maut ja tavat Forssan yhteisön kanssa!

Miten tapahtuma toimii?

• Ilmoittaudu mukaan alta löytyvästä linkistä aukeavalla Webropol-lomakkeella.
• Forssan museo tarjoaa maksuttoman pöydän ryhmille ja yhteisöille, jotka ilmoittautuvat tapahtumaan.
• Valmista herkkuja, jotka kuuluvat sinun joulun, vuoden lopun tai talvikauden perinteisiin, ja tuo ne jaettavaksi ja esiteltäväksi muille.

Huomio! Kun valmistat tarjottavia, muista kirjoittaa ylös ainesosaluettelo allergioiden varalta. Tämä tarkoittaa, että ruoan sisältö tulee listata (esim. sokeri, hunaja, vehnä, kaura, maitotuotteet, pähkinät, kananmuna, manteli, liha, chili...).

• Voit myös tuoda myytäviä tuotteita, mutta pyydämme ystävällisesti, että kaikki tarjoavat myös ilmaisia maistiaisia, jotta jokaisella on mahdollisuus tutustua uusiin tapoihin ja makuihin. Myynti hoidetaan myyjän toimesta. Maksutapoina voitte käyttää käteistä tai esimerkiksi MobilePayta.
• Ilmoittautumisen jälkeen Forssan museon henkilökunta ottaa teihin yhteyttä ja antaa tarkempia tietoja sekä auttaa tarvittaessa.
• Tapahtuma järjestetään lauantaina 29. marraskuuta klo 10–14. Tapahtumapaikkana on museon 1. kerros, Galleria Moletti (Wahreninkatu 12).

2. Pop-up näyttely: Muistojen seinä

Forssan museon Galleria Molettiin rakentuu tapahtuman ajaksi Muistojen seinä, jonne kootaan muistoja tarinoiden, kuvien ja esineiden muodossa.

• Tuo mukanasi muisto, joka liittyy jouluun, talveen tai vuoden vaihtumiseen.
• Näyttelyssä on myös Muisto-piste, jossa voit kirjoittaa jakamasi tarinan paperille paikan päällä.
• Kiinnitä muistosi yhteiselle pop-up seinälle.
• Nouda muistosi takaisin tapahtuman päätyttyä.
• Forssan museodokumentoi Muistojen seinän osallistujien anonymiteettiä kunnioittaen. Kaikki näyttelyyn tuodut muistot luovutetaan takaisin omistajilleen.

3. Jouluinen askartelupaja

Non-stop askartelupiste perheen pienimmille ja miksipäs ei myös vanhemmille!

Forssan museon teollisen tekstiilin kokoelman kuosit tarjoavat hienon aineiston erilaisten koristeiden ja korttien valmistamiselle. Liity mukaan ja valmista omasi kotiin vietäväksi. Kenties siitä jää vuosiksi kestävä joulun perinne.

4. Vapaa pääsy Forssan museon perusnäyttelyyn

Forssan museossa on avoimien ovien päivä ja vapaa pääsy koko tapahtuman ajan lauantaina 29.11.2025 klo 10-14. Tervetuloa tutustumaan Kirjavan kankaan kaupunki -näyttelyyn sekä osallistumaan Kansainväliseen jouluun osana Kehräämön Joulua!

PROGRAM

As part of the Spinning Mill Christmas event in 2025, Forssa Museum will host the International Christmas. At the museum, you can taste and buy treats from different countries, chat, share memories, and explore festivities from various cultures.

The Forssa Museum offers the space for free and invites everyone to share and experience the seasons traditions. The museum wants to create new ways of connecting to the Forssa community. The museum is a space for everyone!

The event is alcohol-free and substance-free, and follows the principles of a Safe space.

1. Culture on Your Plate

Culture on Your Plate is part of the Spinning Mill Christmas event, and the International Christmas at the Forssa Museum. It is a communal event showcasing seasonal delicacies from around the world. Everyone is welcome to bring their traditional flavors. Register your group and share the tastes and customs of your culture with the Forssa community!

How does the event work?

• Register your participation in this Webropol Form below.
• The Forssa Museum offers a table for free for groups and communities that register for the event
• Prepare treats that are part of your Christmas, end of the year or winter time traditions to share and introduce to others.
  
  Attention!
  When preparing the treats, remember to write down the ingredients list for allergens. This means listing what goes in to the food (ex. sugar, honey, wheat, oats, dairy, nuts, eggs, almonds, meat, chili...)
  
  
• You may also bring items to sell, but we kindly ask that everyone also offers free samples as well. The sales are handled by the seller. You can use cash or for example MobilePay
• After your registration the Forssa Museum staff will contact you with more detailed information and assist you with any questions you may have.
• The event will take place on Saturday the 29th of November at 10-14. The event space is the 1st floor of the museum, the Gallery Moletti space (Wahreninkatu 12).

2. Pop-up exhibition: Wall of Memories

During the event, a Wall of Memories will be built in the Gallery Moletti at the Forssa Museum, where memories will be collected in the form of stories, photos, and objects.

• Bring a memory with you that relates to Christmas, winter, or the turn of the year.
• The exhibition has a Memory writing stations where you can also write down what you want to share.
• Attach your memory to the communal pop-up wall.
• Retrieve your memory after the event ends.
• Forssa Museum will document the Wall of Memories while respecting the anonymity of participants. All memories brought to the exhibition will be returned to their owners.

3. Christmas themed crafts

Non-stop Crafting Station for the Little Ones – and Why Not for Adults Too!

The Forssa Museum’s industrial textile collection and it's patterns offer a wonderful source of inspiration for creating various decorations and cards. Join in and make your own to take home. Perhaps it will become a lasting Christmas tradition for years to come.

4. Free entrance to the Forssa Museum permanent exhibition

The Forssa Museum will host an open house with free admission during the entire event on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 10 to 14. Welcome to explore the City of Colorful Cloth exhibition and take part in the International Christmas as part of the Spinning Mill Christmas event!
